Compared with sus304 stainless steel, sus201 stainless steel has greatly reduced corrosion resistance. If it is washed in rainwater for a long time, it will encounter rust. The disadvantage of this series of materials is: 18% chromium content and low nickel content cannot reach Balance and form ferrite. For this reason, the chromium content in 200 series stainless steel is reduced to 15% to 16%, and in some cases to 13% to 14%. It can only replace sus304 stainless steel in some cases.

Waste reuse of 2201 stainless steel plate[edit]
201 stainless steel plate has strong corrosion resistance and high temperature oxidation resistance. However, the oxidation rate will be affected by inherent factors such as exposure environment and product form, which will cause this characteristic to slowly decrease or even disappear. Stainless steel keeps the surface clean, so it transfers heat better than other metals with higher thermal conductivity. So its reuse will be especially important.
Stainless steel plates have different thicknesses, tolerances and sizes, so we have to classify them before smelting them in the electric furnace of the 201 stainless steel plate production plant. After smelting, they become completely new stainless steel.
